Introduction of a WSP Onboard Ships
In accordance with the European manual for "Hygiene Standards on Ships," Amollo Water Technology offers you the opportunity to implement a "Water Safety Plan" (WSP).
The main reason for introducing a Water Safety Plan is to provide the crew with a guideline for the safe handling of water as a resource.
Components of a WSP
A Water Safety Plan includes not only the safe routing of pipes but also the correct handling when bunking, producing and distributing water, as well as the proper maintenance and servicing of the water-carrying components. The safe hygiene of drinking water is the top priority in all steps, with the aim of preventing Legionella formation under all circumstances.
The creation of the WSP includes a personal audit, during which drinking water systems and pipes are inspected.
