Reverse Osmosis Concepts for New Builds and Refits

The design and construction of reverse osmosis systems for seawater desalination are the core expertise of Amollo Water Technology GmbH. Our systems are not based on a rigid concept but are planned individually to meet the specific needs of the customer. We pay particular attention to available space and energy requirements.
With over 15 years of experience in seawater desalination, we ensure the long-term operation of our customers’ RO systems.

Capacity Expansion

On many cruise ships, the existing RO systems are reaching their capacity limits, and some components and units are no longer in reliable condition. Depending on the condition of the system and the operator's requirements, purchasing a new system may not always be necessary. In some cases, renewing and overhauling certain system components, possibly in combination with capacity expansion and the retrofitting of an energy recovery unit, could be the more economically viable option.

Amollo Water Technology offers a free inspection of the system to discuss the various possibilities with the owner.

New Systems

If the repair or expansion of the existing system is not an option or if a second system is to be added, Amollo Water Technology GmbH offers new systems as turnkey units on a base frame (skid-based), as individual retrofits or as container-based systems.

Reverse osmosis system

Very reliable high pressure centrifugal pump. Alternative we offer highly efficient piston pumps in combination with energy recovery devices.

Membrane pressure vessel for 2-6 Membranes.

Turbocharger as energy recovery device. Implemented in stainless steel piping 1.4539.

Norm Block pumps as Seawater supply and cleaning pump.

Sandfilter for highest and most cost efficient filtration standard. For limited space and weight conditions we offer mechanical automatic filter or UF solutions.

Flushing and cleaning vessel. After each shut down the unit will be flushed with self produced freshwater.

Dosing tanks and dosing pumps for antiscalant dosing and pH correction.

Cartridge filter housing for standard 2,5 x 40“ cartridges.

Switchboard with integrated CPU and Touchpanel for one button operation for Start und Stop.

Your Benefits of a System Overhaul

Capacity Expansion of up to 50% with additional concentrate treatment (Interstage Boosting). Generally, no additional high-pressure pumps are required for this.

Reduction in Energy Consumption by up to 70% (2.8 kWh/m³) when using an energy recovery system such as Danfoss ISave, ERI PX, or Fedco Turbocharger.

Cost-effective Retrofit Steps in line with the available budget.

Quick Installation Time of components, as a new foundation is normally not required.
